Thank you, Arc. Now let's pack.
Arc stops working on December 22, 2026.
Pick your next browser and bring your Spaces with you.
Account data is deleted within 30 days after that, and the last day to request a copy of your Arc data is Dec 15. Official timeline.
Free options first
Before you buy anything: several official and free tools already move Arc data. If one of these fits, use it. Each note says what the tool misses.
- Dia's official Arc importer (free, Mac + Windows). Imports Spaces (as Profiles), Favorites, pinned tabs, folders, bookmarks, history, passwords, cookies and extensions. Misses: folders inside folders become separate flat Tab Groups (Dia doesn't nest them), and Easels and Boosts don't come over. Arc Help Center
- Arc's official Export Data (free, built into Arc). Saves
Arc Data Export.mdwith every Space, pinned tab and folder as links. Misses: it's a list of links, not a bookmarks file, so no browser imports it directly; passwords, history, Easels and Boosts aren't included. Arc Help Center - Helium's Arc sidebar importer (free, added in Helium 0.10.4.1, Mar 2026). Reads Arc's pinned tabs and folders, not just bookmarks. Misses: Helium has no Spaces, so Spaces can't be kept as Spaces. Helium PR #1067
- Free Arc-to-Zen community tools: arc-to-zen-guide, arc-to-zen, arc2zen. Misses: small, unofficial projects. We haven't tested them, so what each one keeps (nested folders, Favorites, Windows support) is unverified. Read the code before you run it, and make a backup first.
- Vivaldi, Brave, Edge and Chrome: no importer brings over Arc Spaces or sidebar folders. Bookmarks, and on some browsers passwords and history, may import, but Spaces and pinned folders have to be rebuilt by hand or from a bookmarks file.
Key dates: Dec 15 is the last day to request a copy of your Arc data. Dec 22 Arc stops working. Whichever route you pick, do it before then.
