Who it's for

Who doesn't need it

If you're moving to Dia or Zen and you're happy with the free importers, you don't need this. Use the free options. They're good.

What's inside

One price, everything included

We considered a $29 "setup checklist pack" tier, but the checklist is already in the kit, so a second tier wouldn't add anything. There's one tier: $12 during the launch, then $19.

FAQ

Why pay when free tools exist?

Often you shouldn't. If you're moving to Dia or Zen and the free importers work for you, use them (links are in 'Free options first' on our home page). You pay for convenience and peace of mind: one tested path for browsers with no Arc importer (Vivaldi, Brave, Edge, Chrome, Firefox), a safe backup of StorableSidebar.json, a fix for nested folders the Dia import flattened, and a checklist to verify nothing was lost before Dec 22.

Can't I just use Dia's free importer?

Yes, and if you're moving to Dia you should. It imports Spaces, tabs, folders, passwords and extensions. It turns nested folders into separate flat Tab Groups and skips Easels and Boosts; the kit includes a fix for the folder flattening.

I'm moving to Vivaldi, Brave, Edge or Chrome. Will this help?

Yes, that's who it's mainly for. None of them import Arc Spaces or sidebar folders. The kit turns your sidebar into a bookmarks file with one folder per Space (nested folders kept) and gives step-by-step rebuild instructions for each browser.

Does it work on Windows?

Yes. The backup, export and scripts cover both Windows and macOS (use py instead of python3 on Windows).

What exactly do I get?

A PDF guide (backup procedure for StorableSidebar.json, export steps for Mac and Windows, rebuild steps for Vivaldi, Brave, Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Zen, Dia and Helium, a nested-folder fix for Dia, a verification checklist and a shortcut cheat sheet) plus a zip with two tested Python scripts that turn Arc's sidebar file or Arc's Export Data markdown into a standard bookmarks file.

Do the scripts upload my data?

No. They are short, readable Python files that use only the standard library, run locally, and never touch the network.

Will it export passwords and history?

Passwords: the guide shows how to export them to CSV from Arc's Chromium password manager and import that CSV elsewhere. History: the guide covers importers and a Chrome bridge. Boosts can't be exported; Easels can be saved as PNG.

Does it work after Dec 22?

Arc stops working on Dec 22. The sidebar file may still be on your disk, but don't count on it. Back it up before then. Dec 15 is the last day to request your Arc account data.

What's the refund policy?

30 days, no questions asked. Reply to your receipt email.

How do I pay and get the files?

Secure checkout via Payhip. You get an instant download of the PDF and zip, plus a receipt email with the download links.

Refund policy

If the kit doesn't help, email leavingarc@proton.me within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund the full amount. No questions, and you can keep the files.
